I’m Umut Kayacan a filmmaker driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling. I honed my skills at Anadolu University Cinema and Television in Turkey and continued my journey at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia in Spain.
My path has taken me around the world, contributing to diverse projects across Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Turkey. Notable among these are roles as a Production Assistant on Guy Ritchie’s “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre” and “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.” Additionally, I served as an additional camera on Vicent Peris’s impactful documentary “La estrategia del silencio” and as an editor/reporter for “Exatlon Mexico,” a prominent reality TV show shot in the Dominican Republic.
While my expertise lies in post-production, my dedication to filmmaking is all-encompassing. I’ve explored production logistics, dabbled in camera work, and collaborated with directors, all of which contribute to a holistic understanding of my craft.
My creative journey extends beyond film, winning awards and screenings internationally for my short films and crafting official tutorial videos for Canva.
I offer a range of services including editing, post-production, visual effects, compositing, color correction, motion graphics, and production services in Antalya, Turkey. Leveraging tools such as Avid, Adobe Suite, Cinema4D, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and more, I bring narratives to life.
Welcome to my space, where every frame tells a story. Join me as we navigate through emotions, cultures, and stories yet to be told.
Best regards,
Umut.
